Under the Sea

In this lesson we were taught about drawing. What the class was given was two sheets of that paper that you can do scratch art on. You know the paper that is black and then when tool that has a fine point on it so moved across the paper it scratches away the black and leaves the color that it under it.
What we had to do was there were many different sea animals the the class could choose from. I choose the sea hourse, because I though it w as fun. Then we had to draw the picture of the sea animal on paper and then transfer the image to the scratch art paper and then scratch away. Also one of the things that we had to do was make the sea animal look like it had texture to it. What I did was I added little dots to the picture to add both shade and texture. The darker the place, the more dots I added. I have to say that by doing that method it did take a long time, but in the end it was worth it.
